NO ACCIDENTS !

NOTHING HAPPENS BY ACCIDENT IN POLITICS

I believe it was Franklin Roosevelt who made a comment very similar to the heading above. The more I study the political happenings over the last decade or so the more I am inclined to agree with that statement.

A lot of people are becoming concerned over the status of immigration (legal and illegal) in our country. Some people, maybe most, think what is and has been happening is just a natural phenomenon that can be expected from time-to-time, and perhaps there is some truth in that position. There is usually enough truth in any lie to help people accept it as truth. But a careful examination of our present situation leads me to the conviction that it represents a well planned and cleverly executed scheme.

"In 1973 the Club of Rome, a group of powerful global elitists that are reportedly behind the efforts to create world government, commissioned a report on how best to govern the world. The report recommended dividing the world into ten flexibly administered socioeconomic [regions]." ¹ (Refer to map at the end of this article.)

"On July 7, 1999, the Toronto Star reported that a Joint Command for America, Mexico and Canada should be formed, complete with an active "North American peacekeeping force." The proposed regional military effort is outlined in a report written by Lt.-Col. Joseph Nunez for the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Such a plan would further globalize the U.S. military and weaken U.S. sovereignty." ²

It has also been reported that a plan for the creation of an American Union, patterned after the European Union and its Western European Army, was discussed at the June, 1999, Bilderberger meeting in Sintra, Portugal.

Now we are seeing our President meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister and commenting that we need to relax the borders between our two countries. He is also giving serious consideration to legalizing all the illegal Mexicans who have flooded across our southern border in the last few years. There has also been talk about "relaxing" the border between the U. S. and Mexico.

On Saturday, June 17, 2000, this headline appeared in the National Ottawa Citizen Online: "Border with U.S. 'likely to disappear' North America urged to integrate immigration, customs and security."

This article went on to say, " -- An American think-tank is calling on Canada, the United States and Mexico to combine customs, immigration and security functions to the point at which borders become almost irrelevant.

"A study released yesterday by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace urges the three countries to explore whether a North American 'integration project' is worth pursuing and to develop a strategic plan for rethinking border relationships."

Does anyone think this 'think-tank' recommendation coming shortly following the Bilderberger meeting is merely a coincidence?

It has long been a United Nations goal to regionalize the world for better (easier) management of our "Global Neighborhood." National sovereignty and national boundaries are roadblocks to the UN goal of Global Governance, a euphemism for Global Government.

Massive immigration (at least half of which is illegal) dilutes the sense of national identity by a nation's inhabitants. Studies that have been done indicate that the great majority of the Mexicans who have been flowing into our country maintain their first loyalty to Mexico. They wish to retain their own language and only learn enough English to get-by and make-do. Their major interest in America is as a source of money that they can send home to relatives in Mexico. They may be counted on by globalist factions to support globalist policies that weaken the United States and strengthen third-world countries. The 'diversity' that has been preached for many years is not a uniting factor but divides the people, making it more difficult for any politically-incorrect movement to gain momentum. The strength of a united America that defeated the Axis powers of World War II no longer exists. The ancient adage, "divide and conquer," comes to mind.

Most of our readers will already be aware of local regionalization efforts from earlier newsletters. Efforts such as Region 2020 in the Birmingham, Alabama 12 county area that have been popping up all across the nation. Then there are the Watershed Projects that are overlapping several county/municipal jurisdictions that will require some form of regional committee/board/commission to oversee them.

Regionalization always requires a change in the form of government for its implementation. That change is never one that opens the government entity to control by the voter. It always moves control away from the people and into the hands of some select group with the members usually being appointed, often from special interest elements like the Nature Conservancy or the Sierra Club or some similar body with its own agenda.

Almost always there is a high sounding motive behind efforts to regionalize: such as to avoid duplication of efforts or to coordinate among diverse entities to ensure the most efficient return on the taxpayers' dollars. And always these efforts are for the greater good for the people. Karl Marx, take a bow.

In February of this year Henry Lamb had an article on World Net Daily entitled "Way out of control." In this article he discussed the Columbia River Gorge Commission, which he called "a classic example of how efforts to manage development result in the management of people, which abolishes property rights, and destroys individual freedom."

The Columbia River Gorge Commission came about because the federal government mandated "that the states of Washington and Oregon enter into a bi-state agreement to create and fund a Commission designed by the feds. The 13 commissioners are appointed by the two governors and by the county commissions of the affected counties. Once in place, however, the Commission is not accountable to any affected county, neither state, nor to the federal government. The Commission writes its own rules of procedure, subject to review or approval by no one."

As a result, when citizens who own property in the area find themselves having problems with the edicts issued by the "commission," they have no place to go with an appeal. The two states disclaim any responsibility, saying the commission is a creation of the federal government. The U.S. Attorney's office said..." ... the states of Washington and Oregon have established the Commission through an interstate agreement. We believe the matter you wrote about [public disclosure] does not fall within the federal government's jurisdiction." Henry Lamb says: "Washington Governor Gary Locke hit the nail on the head. He said: 'Because of the interstate nature of the Commission, no governing body presides over it.'"

Henry's article covered a number of problem areas that have arisen between private citizens who own land within the Gorge and the Gorge Commission, most of which have not been resolved.

Citizens of Alabama and Georgia should take note of what has happened in this situation, since there has been some conflict about the Chattahoochee River Basin which is a waterway shared by the two states. When bi-state or bi-county or tri-state or tri-county (you get the picture) commissions or committees or boards are created and given authority to write their own rules and regulations, representative government of, for and by the people becomes a thing of the past and the right of private property becomes history.

These are the kinds of things our Founding Fathers feared and about which they tried to warn us. They were all too familiar with oppressive government and fully understood that the government they were establishing had the potential to become just as oppressive as the one they had fought a war to free themselves from.

It is doubtful, however, that even they could have envisioned such an insidious creation as the United Nations, with its lust for power over all nations. Although George Washington, in his farewell address, did warn against foreign entanglements. Now, most of what we see that is robbing us of our rights is being applied by our own government but has its origins in that bureaucratic monster we created to save us from atomic holocaust. Funny how most monsters seem to be the product of good intentions. Seems there is also a broad highway that is paved with those.

THE BIRTH OF WORLD GOVERNMENT Through Global Deception, Intrigue and War

The heading above is the title of a new book by Michael S. Coffman, author of Saviors of the Earth? The Politics and Religion of the Environmental Movement. This new book is small, less than 100 pages, but is packed with a great deal of information about the United Nations (and other, behind the scenes) efforts to usher in the New World Order and usher out the era of sovereign Nation-states, including the United States under its own Constitution.

Dr. Coffman has done a great deal of research and thoroughly documents his claims.

Several members of our group had the pleasure and honor of meeting Dr. Coffman a few years ago when attending a conference (just outside of Washington, DC) sponsored by the organization, Sovereignty International, of which Henry Lamb is executive vice president. We were also privileged to meet Mr. Lamb at that conference.

We do not have space to give a lengthy review of Dr. Coffman's new book but would like to try to give you enough of a sample to give the flavor. We'll start with some chapter titles:

From that last chapter title one might draw the conclusion that Dr. Coffman is a Christian and views what is happening in light of a Biblical understanding. One would be correct.

Now we will offer a few quotes taken directly from the book.

Agenda 21 and Sustainable America represent a major fundamental change in the role of government in social and land-use policy. Under the concept of Sustainability, no longer is the primary purpose of government to serve the people. Rather the focus of Agenda 21 and Sustainable America is to protect nature from people. [p 9]

On Friday, September 1, 2000, the Washington Times reported that environmentalists are crippling efforts to extinguish fires. ...Forest Service policy led to decisions to stop pumping water from streams to fight the fire because too much water was being taken and the trout might be harmed... [p 8]

>Ed. note: Today, Aug. 2, 2001, headlines on the Fox News Channel (on line) read: "Endangered Fish Policy May Have Cost Firefighters' Lives" The story reveals that four firefighters died while the Forest Service was waiting for permission to airlift water from an area containing "protected" salmon and trout.

The Rivers initiative totally subverts the Constitutional guarantee of a republican form of government where the real "river communities" are the incorporated towns, villages, and counties within each state. [p 11]

The Convention on Biological Diversity that called for setting aside 50 percent of America into wilderness areas and interconnecting corridors is just one example of this pantheistic demand that nature's needs be met before man's needs. [p 13]

Most people believe the Sierra Club and other environmental groups are simply out to protect the environment. Not so. As stated by the Sierra Club leadership itself in 1982, most are fully involved in implementing the agenda of the Club of Rome. [p 16]

America, the world and even the Christian church are being led by the Pied Piper of deceit and delusion, believing they are doing right when in fact they are destroying themselves. [p 18]

...what these globalists are planning for the world is a government controlled by non-elected, unaccountable global elitists and bureaucrats. Our Founding Fathers called it tyranny [p27]
