Relating to Jefferson County; to provide further for the commission form of government in the county and the duties of the members of the county commission; to provide for the employment of a county manager to carry out the administrative and ministerial functions of the county government; to provide the duties of the county manager; to provide for the term and compensation of the county manager; and to amend Section 4 of Act 97-147 of the 1997 Regular Session (Acts 1997, p. 188), relating to the members of the county commission.
